Young~Fulford Cremation and Funeral Services is owned by L.F. "Skip" Young, Jr. and Jackie Lee Fulford. Skip and Jackie share two very common and strong characteristics - the love of helping people in need, and hard work.
Our business was born out of those characteristics and the platform is simple -WE TREAT PEOPLE LIKE THEY ARE OUR OWN FAMILY . . . care, concern, respect, guidance, and help. When a life comes to an end, those left behind have an instant range of emotions: hurt, sadness, worry, grief, and fear of the unknown - all of which quickly take over. When this happens, you can trust we are here to help you with everything you want and what you need.
Although our work ethic and love for helping other people are the bonds that tie us together, our careers have been very different.
Skip Young, Jr., Owner and Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer, has 45 years in the funeral business. Jackie Fulford, Owner, has served the public for nearly 25 years total as a prosecutor, a Circuit Court Judge, and trial attorney.
We selected James Sircy, Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer, as the Funeral Director in Charge at Young ~ Fulford, because he has more than 20 years serving families in the funeral industry.
Together, we are here to serve families as they have never before been served in Tallahassee.

Jackie Lee Fulford, Owner & Coordinator of Celebrations of Life
Jackie Lee Fulford, one of the owner's of Young ~ Fulford, is a trial attorney and retired Circuit Court Judge. Her first career was in the savings and loan industry, starting part time in high school and continuing on for many years, before she went to law school to achieve her childhood dream of being a lawyer. Jackie was a career prosecutor, the Chief Assistant State Attorney of the 2nd Judicial Circuit, and for an interim period the actual State Attorney here in Tallahassee, Florida. Jackie was born and raised in Okeechobee, Florida where her grandparents owned a dairy business and her father, Larry Fulford, has spent a life-time working in the cattle business. Jackie also loves helping people and first learned about the funeral industry through her friendship with Skip. Jackie is a devoted mother to her children Mary and Stuart, loving "Meme" to her granddaughter Emily, and "Jamaw" to grandson Brantley.
