Robert Lee Simpson Jr. 36, of Okeechobee FL, passed away at his Mother’s house in Tallahassee, FL on Sunday, May 16, 2021. He was born on August 14, 1984 in Barren Center, Michigan. “Little Robert” was a loving and compassionate person who loved to be silly. He had the most beautiful smile that could light up your soul. His love was infectious, and once he loved you there wasn’t much you could do, at that point you were his. Haha “Little Rob” loved family game nights, (Especially Poker nights while bluffing) and sitting outside with family, and going to the beach. He enjoyed camping, sitting by the fire with his friends and family laughing and telling stories, ohhh his stories... he’d tell them even as he’d make them up along the way. Little Rob couldn’t be taken serious, he was quite the jokester. Little Rob was known to his friends as “CHEF R.O.B!” As he loved to cook, and was fantastic at it. The relationship he had with his brother, Chris Simpson and little sister Ashley Simpson was like no other. He was a wonderful big brother that taught them a lot and he always had their back and they had his. Any chance they got to spend with each other they did and would just get lost in time enjoying another’s company. Most of all he loved and adored his nieces and nephews. They were his world, he would say they love their uncle “rah rah” without any judgment just pure love. He is preceded in death by his Step Dad Wayne Eiting Sr. Maternal grandparents Olan Caughran and Luvada Caughron. And Paternal grandfather Mac Simpson. Two maternal uncles and a cousin. “Little Rob” is survived by his loving Mother Joellen Eiting and Step Father Steve Caswell of Tallahassee, FL. His Father Robert Simpson of Okeechobee, FL. His Siblings, Christopher Simpson and Ashley Simpson of Okeechobee, FL; His loving girlfriend Crystal Duckworth, His paternal Grandmother Rosalind Simpson of Okeechobee, FL. His daughter Liyah Lorraine Jean Gray of Sebring, FL and Numerous Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Rob loved so many, and was loved by so many more. He had an energy that with even just one encounter with him, you would remember him for life. If you knew him well or barely at all, he always left you thinking. Whether it was about how good looking, ridiculously funny, or just down right inappropriate he was at times, he left his mark. He will continue to stay with us all through memories, and the laughs he forced us all to endure whether we were in the mood for it or not. He loved being around family and friends. Little Rob was the life of the party, loved to dance and have a good time. He will truly be missed and we will carry on with the smiles and laughter of great memories he left us with.
