Patricia Vandela Johnson Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

On November 1, 2019, Patricia Johnson, age 50, went home to be with her Lord. Patricia was born in Stuart, Florida and moved with her family to Monticello when she was a young teenager. After school, Ms. Johnson moved to Tallahassee where she spent the rest of her life. Patricia loved helping others and did so in the hospitality industry throughout her career. Her personality made her the perfect person for the type of work she chose, and she was loved by many. Ms. Johnson loved to ride motorcycles, and did so every chance she got. It was her way of feeling the freedom we all seek in life and she enjoyed every moment of it. Patricia was a loving mother to her daughters, and a grandmother that found great joy in spending time with her grandchildren. Ms. Johnson is survived by her mother, Vandela Rhodes and her stepfather, Levon Rhodes; her daughters Brittany McMullen and Vandela Johnson; her brother Earl Douglas Johnson, and his wife Alice; seven grandchildren including Christopher, Isaiah, Nehemiah, Zech, Chevy, Baylee, and Colt; and finally, she was survived by Man-Man, her faithful pug. Patricia was preceded in death by her farther, Earl Douglas. There will be a Memorial Service in honor of Ms. Johnson at a later date. We are working with the family to set the date, time and place and will post it on the tribute as soon as the details are completed.
