Joan Watson Rawson

Joan Watson Rawson, age 78, died Sunday, July 26, 2020, in Tallahassee, FL. She was born July 14, 1942, in Birmingham, AL, to the late Oliver and Mattie Lynn Watson. Mrs. Rawson graduated from Auburn High School in 1960 and attended Auburn University where she was a member of AOPi sorority. It was in Auburn that she met and married Larry Rawson. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Larry Rawson, Troy, AL, and her brothers Adrian Watson (Kitty) Huntsville, AL, James Watson (Betty), Birmingham, AL, and Horace Watson (Francis), Nashville, TN. Mrs. Rawson is survived by her four sons Jeff Rawson (Donyale), Silverhill, AL, Randy Rawson, Fairhope, AL, Todd Rawson (Kristen), Bay Minette, AL, and Kevin Rawson (Amy), Piedmont, AL, including seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Also surviving are Joe Watson (Evelyn), Troy, AL, David Watson (Rosemary), Foley, AL, Lamar Rawson, Pace FL, David Rawson (Pat), Crestview, FL, and Judy Wiggins (Gary) Atmore, AL.
