Joshua Evan Tailer

Our precious son, Joshua Evan Tailer of Tallahassee, Florida, was born on September 27,1998 and transitioned to God's arms on April 23, 2022. His life here was very difficult with many diseases. His immunologist didn't expect him to reach 20 years of age, but with much prayer and special care, he made it to 23 years. He had been critical many times since contracting an illness in December 2021, which damaged his heart and more. Even though he was severely autistic and developmentally delayed, he brought much joy to our family and all those who knew him. He had a great smile and hug. We are missing him greatly already but know confidently that we will see him soon in heaven. It gives us great comfort to know that he now has no pain, no suffering, is whole, can talk, is intelligent, can swim, and is safely in the arms of Jesus! It also gives us great comfort that we know that before too long, we also will be in heaven with him because of the great sacrifice Christ paid on the cross for us! He was proceeded in death by his grandmothers; Louise S. Tailer-Brown, Patricia Jane Ingram and Pat Jensen-Ingham. All three loved him dearly. He is survived by his father; James W. Tailer and mother Kathleen I. Tailer; His grandfather Ken L. Ingham, five sisters; Bethany Pelts (husband Daniel), Keandra Pilgrim (husband Bryon), Jessica Tailer, Anna Tailer, Megan Tailer. Two brothers; James C. Tailer and Nathan Tailer. Also many aunts, uncles and cousins. We are having a Celebration of Joshua's life this Thursday, April 28th, at 2pm at Seafarer's Chapel in Shell Point Florida, 1557 Shell Point Rd. All are welcome to join us. For those planning to come, please note, you can park at the Shell Point Firehouse (there is also a grassy area next to the firehouse for parking) and walk down to the church, or you can park on Pebble Court or at Shell Point Beach, and friends will ferry you from the pavilion to the church via golf cart starting at 1:15.
