Jade Marie Parenteau

Jade Marie Parenteau, 30, fought courageously for over 5 years after her liver transplant to live on; but her hard-fought battle came to an end on March 18, 2020. Jade was so many things to so many people that it is almost hard to describe this gorgeous young woman, who loved life and always lived it her way. First and foremost, Jade was a mother of four beautiful children. Jaden Parenteau (11), Marliee Parenteau (10), Imani Bennet (8), and Chavelle Bennett (7), were all the first things she thought about when she woke up in the morning, the last things she thought about when she went to bed at night, and they filled her entire day with more happiness than you can imagine. There was nothing in the world that brought her more joy than her kids. If you were looking for Jade, you would most likely find her with her kids - playing, taking them places, and spending time with them outdoors. They were her pride and joy, her true loves, and the most important thing in her life. Linda Parenteau, Jade's mother, has countless memories to share of Jade growing up. Jade was always a free spirit. While she was growing up, Jade and her mother spent cherished time together, with Jade participating in everything from gymnastics and cheerleading, to most every school-related activity there was. They shared a relationship that can only be described as "fun," "fabulous," "exciting," and "extremely close". They truly enjoyed the time they got to spend together. When Jade had her liver transplant in 2015 her mother never left her side, and they have been together ever since. Linda laughed at the good times, gritted her teeth through the trying times (in case you didn't know, teenage girls knowing everything), but Jade knew without a doubt that no matter what, her mother would be there, standing by her side and supporting her. And Linda always was …. taking care of Jade's boo-boo's as a young child, getting her on track as a wild child, and caring for her through her illness ... up to Jade's last moment on earth. Jade's sister, Michelle Manuele, was actually there to see Jade enter into this world. Not something many siblings get to see and what probably explains the incredible bond that the two have shared with each other. Jade loved her big sister like none other, and Michelle's love for Jade was the same. Jade admired Michelle, looked up to her and respected her for that special woman that Michelle grew up to be. Jade loved hanging out with Michelle, and the feeling was mutual. Two sisters, very different, but joined together with the greatest love and fun times they shared as kids growing up, and into adulthood. The differences between the two girls was something that brought Jade to nickname them “Night” and “Day.” Whenever Jade would post pictures of them together, she would comment “Night and Day.” Michelle was “Night” and Jade was “Day.” Michelle told Jade she did that because Michelle has dark hair and Jade has light hair. Jade agreed, but would always say, “It’s so much more and I wouldn’t trade you for anything.” Michelle wholeheartedly agrees. Michelle and her husband Salvatore love Jade's children like they are their own and together with Linda, Jade's mom, will no doubt carry on the memory of Jade in her children's lives forever. Jade is also survived by her nieces Gia Manuele, Joanie Manuele, and nephew Sebastian Manuele; Grandmother Annabelle Crawford; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends. Jade was preceded in death by her grandfather Ralph Moye, and her aunts Karen Radd and Debra LaChance. Jade Parenteau was a beautiful woman both inside and out. From a young age Jade has been loving and compassionate, always taking care of others. Later in life Jade adorned her body with tattoos reflecting her life, her likes and her loves. Her children's birth dates, handprints and footprints; a bar code on her neck (???), a basket of fruit (because she loved juicing), a beautiful butterfly, and the statement "Love Never Dies." Her bright smile would light up a room and brought happiness to everyone lucky to be around her. She will be in the hearts of those who loved her, and she will live on through her children, forever. When you think of Jade, celebrate the great memories you have of her and never, ever forget that life is short and should always be lived to the fullest. Please do so in her honor. You were right Jade ... Love Never Dies! The overwhelming love you shared in your short life will one day bring smiles back to the faces of those who now cannot imagine life without you. Thank you for being an amazing, fun, caring and loving - daughter, sister, mother and friend. You are greatly missed.
