Alyssa "Ally" Cassie Smith

Alyssa "Ally" Cassie Smith was born on March 6, 2000 to Lesley Cecil Smith and Angela Christina (Hartsfield) Smith. Ally was a lifelong resident of Crawfordville, Florida and a Graduate of Wakulla High School, Class of 2019. On September 8, 2021, at the age of 21, Ally went to Heaven and walked straight into the arms of Jesus for a welcoming hug. She shared a deep relationship with God and was a member of the Youth Group at Ivan Assembly of God Church in Crawfordville. Ally cherished the time she spent in prayer and she was a true prayer warrior. Ally was full of life, and celebrated it to its fullest every single day. Everyone who had the pleasure of meeting and knowing Ally would say that she was the most amazing and special person you could ever meet. Ally was known for her warm hugs and she seemed to know exactly when somebody needed one and she was so happy to provide that love. Her heart was pure and huge. Her light shone brightly and she taught others how to shine. Her sweet disposition drew everyone to her with her infectious laugh and beautiful smile. To know Ally was to love her. Ally absolutely loved her family and cherished every moment she had with them. She loved any occasion to celebrate and the holidays were her favorite time of year. Ally loved birthdays regardless if it was hers or someone else’s, Ally would celebrate it as her own birthday as well. This meant that after the candles on the cake were blown out, her family would load it with candles again so that Ally could also blow them out for herself and they would sing happy birthday to Ally. Everything about Ally put a smile on others faces. You couldn't help but be happy when Ally was by your side. She liked to color for hours on end. Her favorite color was purple and she loved the Florida State Seminoles. One of her favorite pass times was driving around in her golf cart for hours at a time with her dog Max chasing her the whole time. She would just laugh, sing and keep driving. She played the guitar and loved to sing and dance. Ally was independent and appreciated her time alone as much as her time with family. You could often find Ally swinging on her grandparent’s porch, singing Happy Birthday Jesus. Ally was an angel among us, a gift to her family and now she is home with Jesus watching over us until we meet again. Ally is survived by her parents Lesley Cecil Smith and Angela Christina (Hartsfield) Smith; her siblings Lainey and Logan Smith; her maternal grandparents Timothy "Stump" and Cassie Hartsfield; her paternal grandparents, Lesley Joe and Cherie Smith; and numerous other family members and countless friends. To celebrate Ally’s wonderful bright light in this world, a Celebration of Life fitting for this amazing young lady is planned for Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Ivan Assembly of God, at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends starting at 10:00 AM. In lieu of Flowers, the family suggest that contributions be made "In Memory of Ally" to Ivan Assembly of God Church, to benefit the "Speed the Light" funding.
